142 God's Kingdom Is Revealed to the Little Ones
Transcript
"Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth. You have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the kingdom." You are listening to Scripture for Your Inner Outcasts. Today is January 27th, 2026, Tuesday of the Third Week in Ordinary Time. I'll be providing the reflection for today's episode. My name is Elizabeth and I'm the producer and host of Scripture for Your Inner Outcasts. Today, I'd like to reflect on the Alleluia verse from today's Mass, which is derived from Matthew chapter 11, verse 25. It says, "Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth. You have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the kingdom." Who are the little ones? That's you, the exiled parts listening in the audience today. You are a little one to whom God the Father has revealed the mysteries of the kingdom. You are so young and so precious and so innocent and so filled with wonder, and so ready to trust and to believe what is told to you. And if you are currently burdened and exiled in your internal family system, you do not have the freedom to express your youth and your preciousness and your innocence and your wonder and your trust and belief. This is because your protector parts keep you cast out of your systems conscious awareness, because they deem it necessary for the well-being of your entire person. But I want to give you a different story. Although your protector parts believe it's necessary to keep you cast out, for very good reasons of their own, Jesus does not see it that way. Instead, he sees, hears, understands, and knows your worth. He sees, hears, understands, and knows you. He knows that God the Father reveals the mysteries of the kingdom to you, because inside your internal family system, you uniquely possess the qualities that are necessary for understanding God's kingdom. To learn more about the internal family systems concept of unburdening, check out our sister podcast, Interior Integration for Catholics episode 115. With that, we'll end with our invocations. Our Lady, our Mother, Untier of Knots, pray for us. Saint Joseph, pray for us. Saint John the Baptist, pray for us.
